Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Airport pickup, transfer to Arusha hotel, trip briefing. Accommodation: Arusha Tourist Hotel or Tulia Spa & Boutique (upgrade). Driving time: 1 hr.

Day 2

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Accommodation: Safari lodge/tented camp, Serengeti. Driving time: 6–7 hrs.

Day 3

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Accommodation: Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater rim. Driving time: 3–4 hrs.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater Tour, Return to Arusha

Accommodation: Arusha Tourist Hotel. Driving time: 3–4 hrs.

Day 5

Arusha to Forest Camp (Lemosho Route)

Accommodation: Forest Camp. Driving time: 2–3 hrs.

Day 6

Forest Camp to Shira One Camp

Accommodation: Shira One Camp. Driving time: 7–8 hrs, 8.4 km.

Day 7

Shira One to Moir Hut

Accommodation: Moir Hut. Driving time: 7–8 hrs, 10 km.

Day 8

Moir Hut to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

Accommodation: Barranco Camp. Driving time: 6–7 hrs, 9.9 km.

Day 9

Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Accommodation: Karanga Camp. Driving time: Time: 3–4 hrs, 5 km.

Day 10

Karanga to Barafu Camp

Accommodation: Barafu Camp. Driving time: 3–5 hrs, 3.5 km.

Day 11

Summit Day (Barafu to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Hut)

Accommodation: Mweka Hut. Driving time: 10–16 hrs, 5 km ascent + 12 km descent.

Day 12

Mweka Hut to Mweka Gate to Arusha

Accommodation: Arusha Tourist Hotel. Driving time: 2–3 hrs.

Day 13

Departure

Driving time: 1 hr.
