Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp is the crater night of our 7-Day Calving Season Safari, run by Embalakai Authentic Camps in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, close to the Elerai River and the local Maasai bomas, with views over acacia woodland to the distant hills. There are ten guest tents, including a two-tent family unit, each with a private bathroom with a shower, a vanity and a flush toilet, and a choice of a king-size bed, twin beds or a triple set-up. A lounge serves complimentary Tanzanian coffee, breakfast and dinner are in the dining tent, and there is Wi-Fi and charging. The camp also arranges cultural visits and nature walks, and is positioned for the crater game drive the next morning.
